Welcome to the CASE for Refugees

The Centre for Advocacy Support and Education for Refugees Inc. (CASE for Refugees) is currently the only community legal centre in Western Australia providing specialist legal assistance to refugees and asylum seekers.

The 2009 Annual report is under About Us : Annual Reports

CASE has received a grant from the Commonwealth Community Legal Services Program.

Because of this we are able to expand our services. Please follow this link for more information. CASE has appointed a new solicitor and a legal education officer. The brochure on the generalist service is at this link.

CASE looks forward to providing expanded services to the CaLD community

The centre is committed to working towards the protection and promotion of human rights of refugees and asylum seekers.

The strength of our organisation lies with the solid support of the many volunteers who work in all areas of the organisation.

CASE has had the benefit of 285  hours of volunteer work for November 09 and 195 hours in December 09. This does not count the hours that the board contributes nor the extra hours that staff work unpaid. People are so generous!
